Wusha Corporation was founded in March 2007 by Nawshirwan Mustafa as a fully integrated Kurdish media company incorporating all the major modern methods of communication, through a television channel, an internet site, a newspaper and a radio station, as well as a statistical research center. Wusha is not associated with any political party or other interest group and is not funded by any institution - private, public or political. Operating via a network of offices throughout Iraqi Kurdistan and headquartered in Sulaymaniah, it employs over 250 staff and this number continues to grow.
